Share TakeStep the Egypt-based healthtech just completed a seed funding round looking to expand operations across to the GCC.

TakeStep was founded in 2018 and specializes in the treatment of addiction and general psychiatry. Thus far the startup has assisted over 15,000 patients with round-the-clock counseling services through its patient-centric mobile and web-based applications. Most cases are managed by certified and qualified doctors authorized to practice psychiatry by the Egyptian authorities.

TakeStep just completed an undisclosed seed investment round from two angel investors One of the investors, Dr Mohamed Hossam Khedr,will join the company as a managing partner. As an experienced business and investment expert, he has successfully led several exits,mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs, trained angel investors,and acted as a management partner at Endure Capital VC.
